    There is still a significant amount of fog out on the bike course and should be burning off shortly once the sun gets higher in the sky.
    Ellis has rode through 7 km's with Blatchford +1:55 back.

    Rapp has powered his way into the lead around 25 km's and is pulling away from Fleischmann with each pedal stroke.
    Ambrose is on a mission and blown by Fleischmann and has his sights on Rapp 20 m up the road.

    Looks like Ambrose (riding in second) is content on marking Rapp up front for the time being.

    At 40 km's Rapp is leading with Ambrose 1 second back. Limkemann is third, +1:39 followed by Fleischmann +2:21 while Sanders is riding in fifth, +4:43 after getting out of the water with a 7:12 deficit.
    At 36 km, Ellis has a 2:53 advantage on Blatchford with Thibodeau riding +6:22, Lyles +9:27 and Hering +9:38.
    At 40 km's, Ellis appears to have put the throttled down and built up a +3:18 lead on Blatchford. Lyles has powered her way into third +6:02 with Thibodeau slipping to fourth, +6:41.
    Rapp continues to lead at 50 km's with Ambrose riding 8 seconds back. Limkemann is third +3:07, Fleischmann +4:20 and Sanders still riding in fifth just over five minutes off the pace. You have to wonder when Sanders will start to make a big push forward.
    Looks like Rapp has pushed the pace as Ambrose is off the pace and riding a minute back at 54 km's. Limkemann is riding in third +3:21, while Fleischmann +5:40 is fourth and with a patient Sanders is riding at +5:35 off the pace, but still well placed at this junction of the race.
    At 50 km's, Ellis has increased her lead to +3:55 on Blatchford. Lyles sits +6:51 in third with Thibodeau in fourth, +7:56.
    Rapp has opened up a +1:12 lead on Ambrose at 60 km's. Limkemann is third +3:19 while Sanders is now riding in fourth, +5:22, however has not made any time up on the leader at this time.
    Ellis's lead keeps expanding and the American's now has a +4:16 lead on Blatchford at 56 km's with Lyles still holding onto third but has slipped to +7:33 off the pace. Thibodeau is riding in fourth at +8:40.
    Rapp's lead has now grown to almost two minutes on Ambrose at 67 km's. Limkemann has a solid hold of third at +3:44, Sanders is holding on to fourth, +5:38 with Fleishmann just a few seconds back.
    Ellis is getting close to building up a five minute lead on Blatchford 63 km's. Lyles is hanging tough in third at +8:11 with Thibodeau now riding over nine minutes back of Ellis.

    Ellis is on fire here in Quebec and now has a +6:02 lead on Blatchford at 73 km's. Lyles is riding in third, +9:33 while Thibodeau is in fourth, +11:01.
    At 81 km's, Rapp is leading with Ambrose +3:33 in second, Limkemann +5:01, Sanders +6:27, Fleischmann 8:03 and Daerr +8:33.
    Rapp has a +4:33 lead on Ambrose as men's race finish off the first half of the bike.Limkemann continues to ride in third, at +5:38 while Sanders has a solid hold of fourth, +6:51 back. Fleischmann , in fifth, is going backwards quickly and is almost 10 minutes down to Rapp.
    Ellis is keeping the hammer down and has a 7:01 advantage in Blatchford at 81 km's.

    The first two women have completed the first half of the bike course with Ellis leading Blatchford bay +7:06.
    Rapp's lead has ballooned to +6:15 at 107 km's over Ambrose. Sanders and Limkemann are riding together, +7:12 and 7:18 off the pace.
    Lyles still has a solid hold of third place in the women's race at 90+ km's but is now over 12 minutes in arrears with Thibodeau riding in fourth looking at a +14:20 deficit.
    We have confirmed that the 2014 Subaru Ironman Mont Tremblant champion, Sara Grosshas dropped out of the race due to a calf problem.

    We are watching Sanders dealing with a flat rear tire at 109 km on the course on our live video feed.
    This flat has cost Sanders over 5 minutes now (and counting) and is now struggling with a jammed chain.
