    Lionel Sanders comes into the race as the clear favorite, however first he will have to contend with Brazil's Igor Armorelli and fellow Canadian Cody Beals who both will likely going off the front on the bike. Germany's Britta Martin and Kiwi Kate Bevilaqua highlight a women's field laced with Canadian women.

    In the men's race Igor Amorelli from Brazil is the first out of the water with a 23:00 swim. Ian Boggs was next, +0:24 followed by Atoine Desroches, +0:50.

    USA's Jennifer Spieldenner is the first women to emerge from the water.
    Spieldenner was the first women out of the water with a 25:23 swim time followed by Kirsty Jahn +3:53, Sue Huse +6:14, Caroline Martineau +6:18 and Jennifer Lentzke +9:31.

    The one loop course circles Lake of Bays and passes through the entire District of Muskoka, including Dwight, Dorset and Baysville.

    In the men's race we suspect that Sanders will close the gap to Amorelli throughout the 94 km’s of the bike here in Muskoka, but Amorelli is no slouch on two wheels. Amorelli, t
    he 2014 Ironman Brazil and 2015 Ironman 70.3 Puerto Rico champion will have his work cut out for him on the run as Sanders is likely one of, if not the premier runners at the half distance right now when he is on his game.

    Sanders is first off the bike after pounding out a 2:16:08 bike split over the 94 km's.
    Amorelli is second off the bike, +4:32 off Sanders pace. Sanders out-split the Brazilian by 9 minutes on the bike!
