  • Berasategui flying on the bike in 2nd place for the ladies just passed 100km mark.

  • Very strong head wind as the athletes cycle towards the turnaround point. Athletes seem to be struggling. It's not easy out there today.

  • Leading lady Simone Braendli passes 120km mark followed by Virginia Berasatagui 11 minutes behind in 2nd.
  • German super-lady Diana Riesler now in 3rd place for the ladies just passed 120km mark.
  • First South African lady is Dianne McEwan in fourth place behind Braendli, Berasategui and Riesler.
