IRONMAN 70.3 Latin American Championship Brazil

    Soffie goos is riding in third in the women's race, 7:30 off Frederiksen's pace at 55 km.

    It should be an interesting see what kind of lead O’Donnell will be carrying at the end of the bike. You would have to believe that Don and Butterfield have the better foot speed of the chase pack of four that also include Amorelli and Ascenco.
    O'Donnell has carried a two minute lead into T2 over Butterfield, Don, Ascenco and Amorelli, who all dismounted their bikes within seconds of each other.

    Helle Frederiksen is now off the bike and into transition. She likely start the run with a seven to eight minute lead at least.

    Chura is the second women off the bike +7:27, while Goos comes into transition third at +7:46.
    At 5 km on the run, O’Donnell has a +1:15 lead on Don. Running in third is Butterfield +2:15 while Amorelli is running in fourth at +2:45.

    Are spotters have told us that Don has whittled down O'Donnell's lead to 40 seconds at 10 km's.
    At 5 km, Frederiksen's lead is nearing 10 minutes over Goos who is now running in second. Chura has slipped to third another minute back.
    At 6.5 km in the women's race, Frederiksen's lead is now sitting at +9:42 over Goos, while Chura is running +10:37 off the leaders pace.
    Lead change in the men's race: Don has run past O'Donnell and has a slim 10 second lead at 17 km's.
